10:00 p.m.
And here's where it's hard to report anything 'new' with my pup: While I was off exploring the architecture of Toronto during the 'Doors Open' event downtown, Dusty was in her crate, chewing on a Kong and wondering if I had possibly forgotten her. ;-)
I hadn't. As soon as I returned, we went for a long walk and then had a wild and wooly play session with her friend Punim in the park. Much wrestling was enjoyed by all (the dogs at least - we humans just tend to stand around a lot).
Dusty was good in her crate. She doesn't cry these days unless I leave without giving her a Kong, then she expresses her displeasure loudly!
I've also discovered that if I go out to run an errand and come back then put on my running clothes and leave for my jog, Dusty doesn't make a fuss about it. I guess she figures that I haven't really 'come home' until she's released from her crate.
