Today was a VERY active day for me and the pup. I had a meeting in the morning that was supposed to last all day, but in fact ended mercifully at 10:30. I danced all the way home smiling with relief.
We ended up going down to the gallery where Dusty and I will be working part-time this summer. It's not even close to being ready (there was still all sorts of construction stuff all over the place) but Dusty had a good time exploring and learning the lay of the land (including good grassy spots for peeing).
In the evening, we went to High Park with E and Chinook and enjoyed the perplexing weather which alternated between sunny-and-warm/cloud-and-cold. Dusty got some rough-and-tumble playtime in, and we walked around on the trails.
High Park is getting really beautiful now with the arrival of summer. Every time I walk on these trails with the pup, I'm so grateful to her for bringing nature back into my life.
