Tired puppy after a visit to High Park
11:00 p.m.
More crate time today, as I had to work. Dusty doesn't seem to mind being at the gallery as much now. She rarely cries as I go about business in the store. She barked a bit today, but only because I took her out of the crate just as E and Chinook walked in.
We had a special treat in the evening - E took us to High Park. Dusty had a great time playing with Chinook. It's gratifying to see her so confident in her interaction with other dogs.
After we got home, she had her first bath in nearly a month. Normally I don't let her go for so long, but she wasn't smelly or anything. It fails to amaze me how hygenic schnauzers generally are. Dusty wasn't thrilled when she saw me getting the bath stuff ready - she always gives me this hurt look over her shoulder, then turns her back on me.
But she got over it. And then she took a nap.
