Dusty's growth chart on the fridge
2:30 p.m.
We've had a marvelous day! In the morning, we slept in, then went to the neighbourhood park, where we ran into our almost-neighbour, Clancy and his owner. They live in the building we will be moving into and gave us good advice about the property and management.
I found out all sorts of new information about our new home. Apparently, there are storage units in the basement! He also told me that the walls in these apartment are very thick and soundproof. After years of living underneath Godzilla's pounding feet (and loud conversations), it will be a relief to no longer *hear* my neighbours.
I already knew this, but we're moving into a great building. Many of the tenants are very long term and the management is great. Yay! I can't wait to move.
We went to High Park in the afternoon, despite stormy skies that threatened rain. Dusty had a great time, as usual. We hadn't been to High Park for a week, so she was due a trip.
The photo today is of Dusty's growth chart, which used to be scrawled on the fridge. I copied it to a piece of paper and took some photos of it before taking it down. As you can see, she's grown a lot! At 8 months, she's already at the maximum height allowed by breed standard (and probably won't grow any taller).
