She wants to escape my clutches so she can go sniff the floor. Sheesh.
4:00 p.m.
Okay, we *are* moving. The new digs is down the street from our current place in a big apartment building. Make no mistake - I'll miss the cachet of living in a turn-of-the-century mansion, but the place is falling down around our ears and I'm afraid that our luck is running out.
So, on to the new place. Here are the pros: view of the city from the large balcony (15th floor!), renovated with new kitchen appliances, hardwood floors, well-organised closet space, all hydro/water/heat costs are included, closer to the subway, still walking distance from our dog park.
The cons: It's small. Yes, smaller than my current place (which is a good-sized bachelor apartment). I'll have to shed one piece of furniture by my estimation, and loose a lot of the junk that I have sitting around in storage (which is no great tragedy).
I put down the deposit on Monday and we move in late August. Yikes.
Dusty and I attended agility class today. We learned a new piece of equipment today, the A-frame. As usual, Dusty had a hard time on the first go-round, but with a lot of coaxing, she gained confidence quickly.

She had some trouble on the teeter-totter today, even though it's still very low to the ground and barely moves at all. It's really scary for her for some reason - we need to work on it.
In between runs, Dusty was really good in class. She didn't wander off and was less distracted than last week. While we waited for our turn, we worked on down-stays.
