Bones and Sunshine

Sleepy pup

9:00 p.m.
Another quiet day for us. Dusty had quite a bit of crate time while I ran errands.

My arm is feeling better. Turns out it wasn't my rotator cuff, but a combination of my rhomboid, trapezius and upper bicep muscles. The massage therapist was able to work out the worst of the kinks and I feel MUCH better. I'm going to take it easy for a few days and see how I feel on Monday.

We went to the park in the morning and said good-bye to Dusty's friend Punim, who is going to 'pug camp' while her family is on vacation. We won't see her for a week. In the evening, we played in the park and went for a long walk.

Training is going great. Dusty is now completely comfortable walking on my right side. She sits and lays down on command, as we're walking. She touches the contact on the cue 'spot.' We're ready for more agility training tomorrow!

Dusty had her first marrow-bone this afternoon in the front yard. It took her two hours to work through it. She was completely absorbed in the experience - I envy her focus! I wasn't nearly as engrossed in my book, but it was a gorgeous day and it will be an even better weekend.
