Circle of friends in the dog park...
6:25 p.m.
*sigh* We worked very hard today! Well, I worked hard - Dusty just layed around in her crate and watched the paint dry.
In the morning, we headed down to the gallery to do some painting. I brought Dusty's 'work crate' with us so she would have a safe place to observe the activity from. (she still has a crate at home).
There's not too much I can say about painting. Dusty was very good at watching - and she was quiet. We took several breaks to go for a walk and get a drink of water at the doggie water bowl outside of Balzac's Coffeehouse. We saw many interesting people and after the construction noises died down a bit, Dusty even took a nap.
Funny thing is, although the day felt really eventful, I don't feel like there's very much to say about it.
Tomorrow, there will be more painting...
This morning, before the painting, we did something very interesting. I rigged up a doggie-bicycle-basket out of a milk crate, some cable ties, a piece of carpet and a doggie-car-harness that E gave me. Voila!
I put Dusty in her new bike seat for a few minutes and walked my bike around the basement. She wasn't especially impressed with the contraption and seemed very happy to get back on solid ground. I'm sure she'll love it once she realises that it involves *going* somewhere.

In her crate. Doing what? Why, watching paint dry, of course!
