small Dog Park

YAWWWWWNNNN!

9:00 p.m.
We had lots of playtime today, but didn't make it out to High Park. It rained off and on throughout the afternoon, so we stayed inside.

The Small Dog Posse has moved the evening meeting to another, smaller park. The idea was to have more space to play, and avoid the crush of Big Dogs that come to our regular park (it was getting to be a bit too much).

Well, I have to say, it's quite the scene at the new park! I couldn't believe how many small dogs were there. The pug didn't show, but we ran into the havanese on the way. The maltese arrived shortly after, then another schnauzer. *Then*, the maltese/yorky mix arrived with her new 'sister,' a 12-week-old black miniature schnauzer. And if that wasn't enough, *another* schnauzer arrived.

It was great fun watching all of the pups play and holding the new puppy. Dusty and I stayed for an hour and a half! (and it didn't rain on us, despite my fears).

Tonight, everyone was asking me questions about Dusty's training and using a clicker. I'm going to take some information to the park tomorrow and a clicker to show them.
