I'm getting big - and too big for my britches
sometimes too!
3:00 p.m.
After I finished grooming Dusty this morning, I put her collar back on and that's when I noticed it: the collar was a bit tight and I moved it up to the second notch. She had a big growth spurt last week - she's growing so fast!
The weather is absolutely lovely today. All of the snow in our yard is melting, which suits Dusty just fine. It's easier than ever to find dead things to put in her mouth! ;-)
We walked out to the park and sat on a bench for a half-hour to watch the world go by. We made some new friends: little boys who were out playing and my friend J, who happened to be walking through the park on her way to an appointment.
The sunshine was fabulous and there's very little of it to be had. By tomorrow, we'll be in the middle of another nasty storm, this one with rain and ice and *then* more snow. *sigh*
10:00 p.m.
We went to the dogpark again tonight and we saw Dusty's schnauzer friend, Kesha. Dusty isn't so keen on the big dogs, but as soon as she saw Kesha, she wanted to get down and play.
We took the pups (Kesha is 8 months old) over to the icerink and let them play on the ice. They had a wonderful time - I can't wait until she has that last set of puppy shots so she can play for real!
