Dusty's first ride on the ferry (the Renie) with AC (she's not really being strangled by AC - it just looks that way)

Today, we took a break from everything 'cleaning' and travelled as far away from the apartment as humanly and doggly possible. We spent the whole day with our friend AC and had a fun adventure. After a lovely brunch in the Annex, we went to the Toronto Islands for the afternoon.
Dusty had never been to the Islands before - the ferry was a new experience. There were so many new smells and funny-looking birds and little kids and strange noises and stuff to sniff. I think she really enjoyed herself.
We walked all over the Island, from Centre Island to Ward's and thoroughly wore ourselves out. We took a break back at the apartment and then took AC to the Small Dog Park to meet all of Dusty's friends Then we walked her back to Bloor Street.
It was a great, fun day. We're both really tired. I definitely will need to take Dusty out to the Islands again soon, and also try going to the beaches again now that the weather is warmer.
