Puppy Pride

Airborne?

10:00 p.m.
I had every intention of taking Dusty to see some of the Pride Day celebrations, but each time I prepared to leave, it started raining. Finally, as dark clouds gathered in angry knots over my head, I went to Church Street by myself. I didn't stay for long - the thunder and flashes of lightning made me wary. But I did capture this funny moment - a very small chihuahua attached to a very large balloon. I had terrible premonitions of this small dog being carried off by the storm and swirling through the dark clouds (or becoming an attractive target for lightning), but he seemed fine and was even wearing some beads.

Dusty took a nap at home and earlier in the day, she accompanied me to the gallery. We set up computers and listened to live jazz. Dusty also got to play with Chinook. They rolled on the floor and raced around the gallery, narrowly missing furniture and lamps - talk about bulls in a china shop!
