I have too much hair!!!

We had a very exciting day today. In the afternoon, we headed down to the gallery - we rode the subway. Turns out, the streetcar was shutdown on King, so we had to *walk*. Ug. At about the half-way point, Dusty just gave up and layed down, so I ended up carrying her. We got there overheated and me with blisters from my sandals. It was not the most pleasant walk we've ever taken together.
Of course, there was the cool environment of the gallery to look forward to. Well, turns out the air conditioning at the gallery was broken, so we sweated our way through the afternoon. To Dusty's credit, she was a very good dog in her crate, didn't cry very much and mostly slept.
This has not been the best day for fun-dog-play-in-the-park - or training. Tomorrow, we'll be a bit more organised and make sure Dusty sees her friends at least once. And the forecast is for cooler weather, so we're going to keep our fingers crossed!
