Crate wrecker

She has one leg over the armrest, the other leg hanging down by the seat.
Her back legs are hanging out the other direction. Her head jammed behind the armrest.
Incredibly, she's *sleeping*.

10:00 p.m.
Busy day today. I'm just now finishing up my supper, if that's any indication!

We spent the morning indoors (Dusty napped). In the afternoon, I went to a yoga class and then ran a whole bunch of errands. Dusty was in her crate for five hours. I think this is probably the longest I've ever left her.

She expressed her extreme displeasure in this turn of events by flipping the little dog bed I put inside the crate entirely upside down, then laying down and sleeping on it. When I came home and saw this, I was really impressed. That must have taken a lot of time and manoeuvreing to execute! All of that and she emptied a Kong too!

Dusty had a busy play day, despite the crate time. In the morning, she made a new friend at the park - a little white maltese who doesn't look like a maltese because she's completely clipped down. Her name is Brooklyn - I think that 's a really cool name for a dog.

It seemed to be 'small-dog day' at Dog Hill in High Park. There were three pugs, two boston terriers, a few poodles, two jack russles. Dusty had a great time, for a change (usually, she refuses to play at Dog Hill - it's very strange).

Anyways, we're both exhausted! Tomorrow: we go to the groomer and Dusty graduates from Puppy Kindergarten. And the next day: spaying! Argh.
