April snow


11:30 a.m.
There's a winter storm warning issued for this afternoon: 5-10 centimetres of snow is expected. Yesterday, while we were hanging out in the front yard, I dug through the softening ice to the ground below and measured it. There was 15 centimetres of layered ice and ice pellets! Most of it is still there, though we had some melting yesterday. Should be an interesting day.

Anyways, I'd better take the pup out for a walk before the storm hits!
