Dog Park Dramas

What a snotty look!

10:00 p.m.
Dusty and I made the long trip up to my former workplace to visit former co-workers. She did really well! She even sat, layed down and rolled over - all on command - in the middle of the Finance Department.

Dusty met many new people, ate dog treats, visited the mailroom and impressed everyone with her cuteness. Then, she peed on the front lawn and we left. Naturally, after all of that excitement, she was exhausted and slept for much of the afternoon.

Dusty woke up in time to go to the dogpark, though. The dogpark was a very exciting place tonight. Daisy, the one-eyed dog, jumped up on a passer-by and ripped his jacket.

There was much negotiation and discussion about reimbursing him for repair or replacement. He seemed concerned that he wouldn't be able to track Daisy's owner down, but how many one-eyed dogs can there be?

He asked Daisy's owner if she would be going shopping with him to replace the jacket (are dogs allowed in sporting goods stores?), but she promised to bring him money if he could bring a receipt the next day. Disaster averted.

I'm glad Dusty won't be getting very big. At her size, she'll only be able to terrorise children.
