Rainy Monday

Curled up to sleep

4:00 p.m.
Dusty had some crate time today, which was good practice because she'll be alone a few days this week. Sometimes I suspect that having me around so much just wears her out. At least she'll get some good quality rest.

She was better on our walk this morning. I've started feeding her right before we walk, in hopes that she'll be too full to eat garbage off the sidewalk. This seems to work pretty well. She seemed calmer on our walk too, but that may have been due to the rain.

Right now, she's in her crate, chewing on her nylabone. It's amazing how well she can entertain herself with just a toy, a bone and an insatiable appetite for daytime naps!
