8:00 p.m.
We had a very eventful day, even though I was in class for part of it.
Dusty did fairly well while I was gone. This was one of my longer absences - 5 and a half hours. She had rumpled her bed in the crate, but as far as I know she didn't cry. I wish there was a way to know for sure. She was quiet when I returned at least.
It rained in the evening. We went to the Small Dog Park anyways because we promised we would be there. One of our dog park friends is an actress and she was going to be there with a TV crew doing a feature, a day-in-her-life sort of thing for the pilot of a dating show. The crew was there for only a few minutes, but Dusty was in a few of the shots.
After the cameras left, we stayed to play for a long time, longer than I had actually planned to stay. When it rained hard, we stood under a tree with our umbrellas. It was fun chatting with people - I really enjoy this time in the dog park and the dog park people. This is one of the benefits of owning a dog.
