Weeeee!
9:30 a.m.
Today, I have some photos of Dusty's 'greeting ritual.'
Since moving to the new apartment, she's settled down to a new routine. When I come home after a few hours away, she charges out of the crate and runs around for a few minutes, picking up and shaking her favourite toys and squeaking (she squeaks and the toys squeak).
Then she flips herself into my lap, belly up, and stretches out full length on my legs to get a few minutes of a belly rub. When she's had her fill, she jumps up and runs around some more.
It's always the same. Lately, I've noticed that she's exhausted when I'm at home all day. I think she relies on 'crate time' for high quality 'nap time.' When it's time for me to leave, I'll often find her waiting patiently in her crate.
