She was so cold after yesterday's bath, she huddled under
the covers for hours, sleeping and keeping warm.
10:00 p.m.
On our way back from the Small Dog Park this evening, we stopped through our neighbourhood park and discovered that a party was going on. There was chocolate and brownies from the humans and cake for the dogs!
This was a special doggie-cake made of liver and stuff. It looked like a regular cake, but the dogs were not fooled - they were trying to jump up on the picnic table to get at it.
Dusty got a slice. I was a bit leery of giving this to her, but she was very excited about it. I've never seen her eat with such gusto!
The 'party' was a going-away celebration for my former upstairs neighbours. They too were fed up with the old landlord and moved out a month after I did. They moved to another neighbourhood and are going to a new dog park.
