Our parks like a moonscape with all of this dumped snow!
6:30 p.m.
Dusty doesn't protest too much these days when I put her Muttluks on and bundle her up in the dog coat. But I don't think that she really understands why I'm torturing her - she just gently tolerates it. Of course I do it because it keeps her warm (though I will admit that she looks *very* cute in her winter costume).
This morning, though, even that dog coat couldn't keep her warm. We were only out for a half-hour, but Dusty was shaking. Wimpy!
I had a nice outing planned, despite the temperature. I decided that since it was the weekend, it was a perfect morning for a nice, long walk/playtime in the park. My friend BW and The Pug were there, and Dusty played a tiny bit.
The city dumped a bunch of snow in our park and it's in big piles everywhere. I tested the dogs' climbing ability by climbing up to the very top of a pile and then saying the 'T' word (t-r-e-a-t). They all climbed up with no problem!
