This is how she asks to come up on the bed
330 p.m.
I didn't want to blemish yesterday's festive spirit with a 'poo post' so I saved it for today. If hearing about my dog's digestive system (or poo) bothers you, you should probably skip this entry.
We had a big event yesterday morning: Dusty finally passed the monkey tail that she swallowed shortly after her birthday in November. No, not a *real* monkey tail, a toy one. Purple to be exact. Not that the colour matters very much, if she makes up her mind to eat something, colour is no barrier.
One of her birthday gifts was a monkey toy, that plays a funny tune when you squeeze it. Dusty wasn't interested in the music, she wanted that tail. And she got it - she ate the whole thing! Ever since, I've been watching her poo and waiting for her to pass that tail.
It all came out yesterday. It's been rolling around her intestines for a month. This just amazes me. Yes, it's disgusting, but it's also fascinating. I'll never fathom why she eats some of the things she does.
