Dusty and Cuan at High Park
10:00 p.m.
Dusty was really great this weekend at the gallery. She even allowed a few customers to pet her.
Her reaction to one specific woman really surprised me, though. She ran up to her, tail wagging furiously, squealing with delight, her whole body wiggling. She's never done this with anyone but me.
But a few seconds into her ecstatic greeting, Dusty stopped cold and started backing up. The woman had dark hair and was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie. Dusty apparently mistook her for me.
Just like a human being who makes this mistake, Dusty seemed really sheepish. She slunk over to me, meekly, as if to say "Ah, geez, I embarrassed myself!"
