Walking to work

8:30 p.m.
After a weekend of power outages, move-related bickering and bizarre changes to our routine, we finally had a *good* day. And it was all because we went to work today. Frequently, nothing interesting happens at work, but at least nothing *bad* happens either.

And, in fact, we had a great day! I say 'we' because Dusty seemed to enjoy the return to routine (lots of good naptime in her crate). I say 'great' because the weather was gorgeous. We walked downtown to catch our ride to the gallery (transit still isn't back to 100%) and we both enjoyed the sunshine and the exercise. We went for another walk on our lunch break and yet another after work. Lots of walking and Dusty's really tuckered.

We had a doggie customer at the gallery today, an english spaniel from the States. Dusty looked, but didn't bark. On our lunchtime walk, she listened to a jazz combo for awhile, sniffed at some new sculptures installed along the south end of the complex and played with a black and white pug.
