Baaaaa!

First she 'kills' it, then chews it, then sleeps with it.

11:00 p.m.
Dusty received a birthday gift from Grandma today in the mail. It's a sheep toy that makes a "BAAAAA!" sound (we're going to take it in to the gallery to show to Cuan and Chinook - I'm betting they will be VERY interested in this baaing toy).

Also, we had a funny moment in the park today. Dusty went potty and I walked over to scoop it up and then walked to the garbage to thow it away. But Dusty just stood there, looking at me expectantly. I walked back over the the other dog owners and we all stood there, watching Dusty watch me expectantly. After a moment or so, I walked back over to see what she was up to - she hadn't moved.

She had a 'dangly.' This is what I call the poops when they don't come out and just dangle there on her bum. I usually have to take a bag and grab the poop, but in the past, Dusty has not been very eager to accept my help in this regard.

Well, this time she was just waiting there for me to get the dangly. A few months ago, I read this email joke that talked about how different breeds of dog would 'change a lightbulb.' The schnauzer response was "Dogs don't change lightbulbs, people change lightbulbs." Apparently, people catch danglies too. I guess it really is true that 'schnauzers don't have owners, they have staff.'
