The Hair Ball

Dusty and the Giant Hair Ball

10:00 p.m.
Recently, I've noticed that Dusty has a hair problem - mainly, she has a lot of it and it's tangling into huge mats all over her body.

Today, I spent almost an hour picking out the mats while poor Dusty writhed on her back on the floor, like an overturned turtle. Make that an *unhappy* overturned turtle. She was really ticked off by the time I finished, but she was fascinated by the resulting hair ball, which was bigger than a tennis ball.

Clearly, she needs a haircut. I phoned the groomer and she's going in on Friday. Enough is enough.
