Dusty gets comfy on her zafu, in preparation for doggie-meditation...
10:00 p.m.
We had some guests over last night, my study group. Dusty, predictably, barked at them - particularly the first person through the door. Then she layed in her basket and quietly 'woofed.'
But then she started to wander around. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that she was allowing someone to scratch her ear (that person was, coincidentally, eating some food! *grin*). Then she was letting som eone else stroke her head.
An hour into our study session, Dusty had parked herself in the middle of the group, on top of my notebook and was offering to shake hands with anyone who would glance at her. She even did her 'roll-over' trick, something I've never been able to get her to do in front of strangers. And she did it *without* a treat. Amazing.
She'd make a good politician.
