Paint

Dusty must be finally feeling at home - she's been getting her toys out and playing!

10:00 p.m.
Today, Dusty and I were basically homeless for 8 hours, while contractors came in to paint over the horrible pink walls (the new colour will be a more neutral ivory).

First, we spent over an hour in the dog park. When everyone left, we walked down to the library to turn in a few books. We walked around on Bloor, then up to Grapefruit Moon. We stayed on the patio there for over three hours - I ate brunch and Dusty slept.

Then, we went back to the park and sat on a bench. We played for awhile, I read my book, and we chatted with a friend. Finally, around 2:00 p.m., I couldn't take it anymore - we headed back to see if the painters were finished yet.

They must have just left, because the paint was still tacky on the walls. But Dusty has her balcony back and I can FINALLY unpack.
